Theta Gold Mines Limited is an Australian-based gold exploration and development company. The Company holds a range of prospective gold assets in South African gold mining region. The Company’s project includes Theta (open Cut) Project that sits across two mining rights MR83 and MR341, which is owned and operated by Theta Gold’s South African owned subsidiary Transvaal Gold Mining Estates Ltd (TGME). Its existing CIL plant site and tailings-storage facilities is closely positioned between the two tenements. Its Theta Open-pit Starter Project includes the Columbia Hill deposit and part of the Theta Hill deposit within mining right (MR83). Its Theta (open Cut) Project is located next to the historical gold mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest, in Mpumalanga Province, approximately 370-kilometer (km) northeast of Johannesburg by road or 95km north of Nelspruit a capital city of Mpumalanga province.
