Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s revenue rose 25% in September from a year earlier, it said Thursday.
Revenue for the month was 127.59 billion New Taiwan dollars (US$4.45 billion).
Compared with August, revenue rose 3.8%, the Taiwanese semiconductor maker said.
Revenue for 2020 so far through September was NT$977.72 billion, a 30% increase from the same period a year earlier, it said.
The U.S. Commerce Department in May restricted chip makers globally who use U.S. technology from supplying semiconductors to Huawei Technologies Co. The grace period for restrictions ended mid-September.
