Only at Sunrise: the first 5G laptop, by Lenovo

12/02/2020 | 04:57am EDT

'The new 5G laptop from Lenovo and our Business Mobile subscriptions, along with a free extra SIM Business, as well as the latest Business Mobile Internet subscriptions, are the perfect combination for contemporary and location-independent collaborative working. I'm thrilled to offer this revolutionary device exclusively at Sunrise, because it's perfectly suited to our Unlimited Mobile Workplace', emphasizes Robert Wigger, Chief Business Officer at Sunrise.

The new Lenovo laptop is the first computer in the world with 5G. The 2-in-1 convertible is the first computer to be driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx chip processor with passive cooling and a X55-5G modem, which enables the use of 5G networks globally. Thanks to a 7nm design, it uses 60% less power than the previous generation and has a battery life of up to 24 hours.

At 1.3 kg, the Yoga 5G is very mobile. The 14-inch FHD-IPS display with in-plane switching technology and two sound-optimized, front-emitting Dolby Atmos® speakers delivers brilliant visuals and sound. Connection to the 5G network delivers a clearer full HD mobile streaming image than with the 4G/LTE predecessor. And thanks to an energy-efficient processor, the screen brightness can reach up to 400 cd/m² without affecting battery life.

With enterprise-class security features such as a TPM 2.0-compatible security chip, a fingerprint scanner and an integrated infra-red face recognition camera, which identifies faces and logs them onto the system securely via Windows Hello, the user, their privacy and their data are optimally protected.

New Business Mobile Internet subscriptions with 5G and Business Priority

In addition to the launch of the Business Mobile subscriptions in the summer, there are now also 4 flat rate subscriptions on offer for unlimited data use. The customer just needs to decide whether to go for a national or international rate incl. roaming for their mobile device, because thanks to three international flat rates, the subscriptions can be used when abroad as well.

The premium variant of the Business Mobile Internet subscription allows the customer to benefit from top 5G speeds and the best roaming partners when abroad. The new Business Mobile subscriptions are also available with the same flat rate services as basic versions with 4G+. The monthly charge for Business Mobile Internet basic subscriptions is CHF 15.- less.

The Lenovo Yoga 5G laptop is now available at Sunrise for CHF 1499.-, along with the desired Business Mobile Internet premium subscription free of charge for three months. Sunrise customers with an existing Business Mobile subscription can easily use one of their extra SIM Business cards for the new laptop.
