FAST-GROWING events ticketing platform Dice has raised $122m (£89.1m) in a Series C funding round led by Softbank with participation from iPod creator Tony Fadell.
Blisce, French entrepreneur Xavier Niel, Mirabaud Private Equity, Cassius and Evolution also participated in the funding round which will help the company to expand its team and secure partnerships with new venues and artists.
The Dice platform ensures artists do not lose out on ticket sales by preventing secondary resale of tickets. It helps more fans get into concerts by running a waitlist and refund feature for sold out shows.

"Alongside the flexibility and security of seamless ticketing, the platform connects fans, artists and venues in a completely new way We are excited to partner with Dice to help create remarkable event experiences for fans all over the world," Pipilis added.
Dicehopes 49,000 artists will join its platform by 2023.
