Porsgrunn, July 02th 2021 - Skien Brygge Utvikling AS has agreed in principle to
a lease contract with Comfort Hotel Skien Brygge AS for 6,100 sqm in upcoming
development project Skien Brygge. The lease contract will have a duration of 20
years, starting at project completion expected in Q4 2024.
The firm lease agreement is expected to be finalized and signed during H2-21.
Skien Brygge is a large city development project in the city center of Skien,
where R8 Property owns 25% together with Bane NOR Eiendom (50%) and Skien
Boligbyggerlag (25%). Once finalized, Skien Brygge will house approximately 450
new appartments, approximately 600 new jobs, 5,000 sqm culture, F&B and retail
premises and 21,500 sqm public areas. The development is split into three
stages, where the first stage of 20,000 sqm BTA is ongoing.
