07/15/2021 | 02:51pm EDT

LAS VEGAS (July 15, 2021)- Caesars Entertainment, Inc. ('Caesars Entertainment' or 'Caesars') strengthens its reputation as an industry leader in diversity, equity and inclusion, and corporate social responsibility by earning two prestigious distinctions. With an 80 score on the 2021 Disability Equality Index, Caesars became the first gaming company named a 'Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion,' and, for the seventh consecutive year, the Company was named one of '50 Most Community-Minded Companies' in 2021 by The Civic 50.

'All of us at Caesars Entertainment are proud to be the first gaming company to earn recognition as a 'Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion,'' said Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment. 'We are equally honored to be named, once again, to The Civic 50. We strive toward a best-in-class social impact, equity and inclusion strategy, and we are grateful to our Team Members, guests and partners who are helping us move forward.'

The Disability Equality Index (DEI) is a comprehensive benchmarking tool that helps companies build a roadmap of measurable, tangible actions that they can take to achieve disability inclusion and equality. Each company receives a score, on a scale of zero (0) to 100, with those earning 80 and above recognized as a 'Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.' The DEI is a joint initiative of the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), the nation's largest disability rights organization, and Disability:IN, the global business disability inclusion network, to advance the inclusion of people with disabilities. 'I am impressed with Caesars Entertainment's comprehensive approach to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and pleased to see their efforts reflected as the first gaming entertainment company on the 2021 Disability Equality Index,' said Jill Houghton, President & Chief Executive Officer of Disability:IN. 'Caesars looks at DEI from multiple lenses such as environmental social governance, supplier diversity, policy advocacy and thought leadership. They embrace disability inclusion as a key facet of social-economic equity, belonging and inclusion. Caesars recognizes that equity and accessibility cut across the enterprise and seeks to create sustainable impact for their Team Members, host communities and brand.'

Caesars Entertainment was also recently named a 2021 honoree of The Civic 50 by Points of Light, the world's largest organization dedicated to volunteer service. The award acknowledges Caesars as one of the 50 most community-minded companies in the country based on four dimensions of its U.S. community engagement program, including investment, integration, institutionalization and impact. The Civic 50 provides a national standard for superior corporate citizenship and showcases how companies can use their time, skills and resources to impact their communities.
