Shares of Icosavax, a drug developer working on a Covid treatment, among others fell sharply after roughly doubling on their stock-market debut.
AbbVie shares fell after the drug maker's earnings lagged some investors' expectations. The company said it was following Food and Drug Administration recommendations about Biogen's Alzheimer's drug Aduhelm as it worked on a product in the same family of medicines.
