Before the August break, some of Europe and America's biggest companies are releasing their quarterly results. Airbus is in trouble with Qatar Airways, while Nintendo and Novavax fall on stock markets on disappointing announcements. Virgin Galactic has unveiled the price of the ticket to space.

  • AIG: the insurer's share price rises slightly after strong results.
  • Allianz: 2021 results will be at the top of the range announced.
  • Beyond Meat: the plant-based meat specialist loses more than 4% after disappointing results.
