ETFs seeking to replicate Indian large cap stocks indices experienced a drop in performance during yesterday’s market session with a daily negative performance standing at -1,12%. The bull run continues and yesterday’s market session brought the year-to-date performance to -7,91%. India’s exports are at 2016 levels and are down 1,7% year-over-year bringing the trade balance lower than anticipated. Nevertheless, investors seem to be buying the dip with $+56,95M of cumulated flows since the beginning of the year. 41 funds tracking 16 indices are included in the segment for a total of $11,19Bn of assets under management.
