William James Dally founded Velio Communications, Inc. and Stream Processors, Inc. Presently, he is Chief Scientist & Senior Vice President-Research at NVIDIA Corp.

He is also Member of National Academy of Engineering.

In the past Dr. Dally was Chairman at Stream Processors, Inc., Chief Technology Officer at Velio Communications, Inc., Professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Professor-Computer Science Department at Stanford University.

He received an undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, a doctorate from California Institute of Technology and a graduate degree from Stanford University.
