Presently, Matthew Comyn occupies the position of Chairman of Australian Banking Association. Mr. Comyn is also on the board of The Financial Markets Foundation for Children and UNICEF Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director & MD of Commonwealth Bank of Australia. In his past career he was General Manager-Equities & Margin Lending at Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Managing Director at Commonwealth Securities Ltd. (a subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia). Mr. Comyn received a graduate degree and an undergraduate degree from The University of New South Wales and an MBA from The University of Sydney.
