Prior to founding MHR in 1996, Mr. Rachesky was the sole Managing Director of Icahn Holdings Corporation and acted as Carl C. Icahn’s chief investment advisor. Prior to his employment with Icahn Holdings, his was an investment advisor for three years for an affiliate of the Robert M. Bass Group.

He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University School of Business, an M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine, and a B.S. in Molecular Aspects of Cancer from the University of Pennsylvania.
