Presently, Marcus Weldon holds the position of Chief Technology Officer of Nokia Oyj.

In his past career he held the position of President of Bell Laboratories, Chief Technology Officer & President-Bell Labs at Alcatel-Lucent SAS and Member-Technical Staff & Bell Labs at Lucent Technologies, Inc.

He received an undergraduate degree from King's College London and a doctorate from Harvard University.
