Presently, Marco Wirén is Chairman at Wärtsilä Finland Oy.

He is also on the board of Neste Corp.

He previously occupied the position of Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President for Wärtsilä Oyj Abp, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President for SSAB AB, Chief Financial Officer & VP-Business Development at Eltel Networks Oy and VP-Business Development & Controller at NCC Finland Oy.

Mr. Wirén received a graduate degree from the University of Uppsala.
