Currently, Louis Vovelle occupies the position of Senior Vice President-Research & Development at Elkem ASA. Dr. Vovelle is also on the board of the University of Lyon and Axelera and President for Association Techtera.

Dr. Vovelle received a doctorate from Ecole Centrale Lyon.
