Mr. Hooshmand previously was Group Vice President & General Manager at Cisco Systems, Inc. and Engineering Director at StrataCom, Inc. (a subsidiary of Cisco Systems, Inc.) and President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Applied Micro Circuits Corp.

Mr. Hooshmand received a graduate degree from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree from California State University-Chico.
