Mr. Gérard Haeberli is a Head-Private Banking Division at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise and a Member of the Executive Board at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise.
He is on the Board of Directors at Institut Superieur de Formation Bancaire.
He joined the Executive Board of Banque Cantonale Vaudoise, responsible for the Private Banking Division, on 1 July 2009.
Mr. Haeberli joined Credit Suisse in 1985, where he spent his career until 30 June 2009. From 1987, he held responsibilities in private banking in Yverdon-Les-Bains and then worked in Zurich before being transferred to the United States, where he worked in New York and Miami. In 1994, he was transferred to Lausanne, where he took over responsibility for an international desk for Credit Suisse Private Banking. In 1998, he was put in charge of the Vaud region and became head of Private Banking for all French-speaking Switzerland in 2000.
He extended his responsibilities in 2006 to include all of Credit Suisse’s business lines in French-speaking Switzerland.
Mr. Haeberli holds a Degree in economics (with a specialization in business administration) from the Business and Economics Faculty of Lausanne University (1983) and certificates from the International Bankers School in New York, Harvard Business School Boston, and IMD in Lausanne.
