Currently, Brian Keith Trent holds the position of President at BK Trent LLC, President & Director at Catamount Energy Corp. and General Counsel at Duke Energy Gas Transmission Co.

He is also Member of American Bar Association, Member of State Bar of Texas, Member of Houston Bar Association, Member of The North Carolina State Bar, Member of Mecklenburg County Bar, Member of United Way of Central Carolinas, Inc. and Manager of Duke Capital Partners LLC and on the board of 10 other companies.

In the past Mr. Trent held the position of Attorney at Jackson Walker LLP, Executive Vice President & COO-Regulated Utilities at Duke Energy Corp. Director at Duke Energy Progress LLC, Executive Vice President of Duke Energy Indiana LLC and Secretary & General Counsel of Duke Power Co. LLC (which are all subsidiaries of Duke Energy Corp.), Partner at Snell, Brannian & Trent and Production Engineer at Arco Oil & Gas Co.

Mr. Trent received an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and a graduate degree from The University of Texas School of Law.
