GENEVA, Switzerland - November 05, 2020 - Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the banking software company, today announced the appointment of Phillip Finnegan as Managing Director for the Pacific region. Finnegan will be responsible for customer engagement and regional strategy in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. He brings 20 years' experience in financial services technology to spearhead Temenos' continued business growth and support the rapid pace of banking innovation in the region.

Temenos has a strong and growing presence in the Pacific region. It has four offices, 266 employees and more than 230 clients using its core banking, payments, digital front office and fund administration technology. Recent acquisitions of Rubik, an Australian listed SaaS company providing banking, wealth management and mortgage broking solutions and Avoka, a US-headquartered SaaS leader in digital customer acquisition and on-boarding founded in Australia, have enabled Temenos to accelerate the expansion of its presence in the region.
Prior to Temenos, Finnegan spent three years as Managing Director, Pacific, at payment systems company ACI Worldwide. He has also held senior management roles at FIS, Clear2Pay and First Data Corporation as well as board member and advisory roles on a number of fintech startups. Finnegan is an industry expert on financial services technology and a regular speaker and commentator on topics including open banking, payments and banking platform modernization.

With Temenos' technology, banks can go live and bring new products to market 10 times faster; deliver more engaging digital experiences and can operate at 10 per cent of the cost compared to legacy systems.
