ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, Md. (AP) _ Colfax Corp. (CFX) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $13.4 million.
The Annapolis Junction, Maryland-based company said it had profit of 10 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 41 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 10 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 40 cents per share.
The manufacturing and engineering company posted revenue of $805.9 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $759.4 million.
Colfax shares have declined 22% since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 12% in the last 12 months.
