AirAsia Berhad : Free flights for all AirAsia Unlimited Pass holders

09/23/2021 | 10:52pm EDT

KUALA LUMPUR, 24 SEPTEMBER 2021 - AirAsia Unlimited Pass (Cuti-Cuti Malaysia) holders may now redeem a free flight* to Langkawi or any domestic destination to compensate for the missed travel opportunities brought by the quarantine restrictions imposed over the past year.

Likewise, this initiative is AirAsia's way of rewarding its loyal customers for their continuous support amidst the global health crisis. Launched in June 2020, the AirAsia Unlimited Pass, allows all Malaysia-based BIG Rewards members who purchased the pass to redeem unlimited flights within Malaysia from the date of purchase until 30th June 2021.

Amanda Woo, CEO of airasia Super App said, "We received an overwhelming response when we introduced the AirAsia Unlimited Pass (cuti cuti Malaysia) last year. Many guests were able to take advantage of the pass where they were able to travel and enjoy cuti cuti Malaysia within our domestic network across 16 destinations. Unfortunately, some were not able to maximise the usage of the pass due to travel restrictions.

"As a token of our appreciation we would like to reward all cuti-cuti Malaysia Unlimited Pass holders with a free flight to any domestic destination. We hope they will use this opportunity to go for their long overdue holiday in Langkawi or for any essential travel to domestic destinations. This is another initiative crafted to stimulate and revitalise Malaysia's domestic tourism in support of the government's effort, especially with regards to the Langkawi travel bubble and other destinations that will follow soon.

"AirAsia is fully ready to welcome everyone onboard with numerous contactless technological innovations and improvements that will allow guests to travel with enhanced comfort and provide a hassle-free door-to-door experience. Guests can look forward to a convenient and seamless self-check-in feature through the airasia Super App and FACES facial recognition for boarding, on top of our robust procedures to maintain the highest safety standards at all times.

"With flights operated by only fully-vaccinated crew and the built-in safety features of the aircraft itself, flying continues to be the safest mode of transportation. The success of the Langkawi travel bubble is the result of our continuous engagement and close working relationship with various stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Tourism, Art and Culture, and other health and civil aviation authorities."

Pass holders will be notified directly via their registered email address regarding these added benefits, or click on the 'Unlimited' icon on the airasia Super App or visit airasia.com/unlimited for more information.
