German values respond positively to hopes of a lull in the trade war. Indeed, some sectors had suffered terribly from the resurgence of protectionism.
In the last month of October, the Frankfurt index rose by 3.8%, led by the automotive sector. Daimler (+16%) and Volkswagen (+12%) were the subject of intensive purchases by investors.
