Tech Up As Cryptocurrencies Recoup Some Losses -- Tech Roundup

Shares of technology companies rose as a slide in cryptocurrencies was interrupted.

After trading as low as $31,000 on Sunday, the price of bitcoin rebounded to over $38,000, according to Web site Coindesk. Shares of bitcoin-associated concerns such as online merchant Overstock.com and electric-car maker Tesla rose sharply.

Lawyers for Apple and Epic Games began making their final arguments to a judge deciding whether the iPhone maker has an unfair monopoly that hurts third-party software developers. Shares of Apple rose.

Virgin Galactic surged after the space-travel concern said it completed its first human flight from New Mexico on Saturday.
