She previously held the position of Manager-Area Marketing at Fazer Chocolates Ltd., Sales Director for Snellman Oy AB, Managing Director at Oy Gustav Paulig Ab, Head-Coffee Division at Paulig Ab, Senior Vice President of Suomen Lego Oy AB and Manager-Accounts & Trade Marketing at SCA Hygiene Products Oy AB.

Elisa Markula received an undergraduate degree from Turku School of Economics.
