Presently, Derya Kumru occupies the position of Chairman of Deniz Faktoring AS and Chairman of Deniz Finansal Kiralama AS. Mr. Kumru is also on the board of Denizbank AS and DenizBank (Wien) AG, Zweigniederlassung Frankfurt.

He previously was Executive Vice President at Esbank Eskisehir Bankasi TAS and General Manager at Denizbank Moscow CJSC.

Derya Kumru received an undergraduate degree from Ankara University and a graduate degree and a doctorate from Istanbul University.
